The Carbon Amateur Radio Club was founded in 1948, and  our membership  consists of nearly forty amateurs from Carbon and the surrounding counties of Monroe and Schuylkill..

Our members have a wide range of interests, from ragchewing to DXing, and contesting to foxhunting, from QRP to PSK31, plus we are active in ARES/RACES.

The CARC meets on the Third Thursday of every month in Nesquehoning unless otherwise posted. Meetings are held at 7:30 PM local time at the EMA center, located on Rt. 93 near the Carbon County Correctional Facility.  

There is usually an informal get together at Izzio's Restaurant at the bottom of the hill on route 93 prior to the meeting around 6:00 PM where where you can get a sandwich or a full meal.
